Southern California rock band The Young Wild have premiered their new music video for the single “Not A One.” The single shot video features band members interpreting the song in their own way. You can view the video on Nerdist or on the band’s YouTube channel: The audio stream is also available on the band’s Soundcloud:

“We decided to do a performance piece where each person would be filmed separately and make an interpretation of the song without being aware of what the other performers would be doing,” singer and songwriter Bryan B. William explained. “When we combined each shot into one environment you get all of these movements and ideas working with and against each other. As far as ‘single shot’ videos go we think it holds up.”

Singer and songwriter Bryan B. William goes on to explain, “‘Not A One’ has a lot of ideas about falling for someone or something that everyone around you disapproves of. Or for that matter being aligned with anything that might be misunderstood or criticized. So skipping town seems like the only way to keep it in tact.”

The Young Wild is the creation of singer and songwriter Bryan B. William. From writing songs on the piano William created the modern rock sound that he had always envisioned for the band that he wanted to create. After forming in late 2014, The band released their debut EP “For Now Not Forever” and had success with their single “Moment Goes.” The band then hit the road with Barcelona and Switchfoot and wrapped up 2014 in the studio writing new material. The Young Wild plan to release a new EP in 2015 and will go on tour across the US.
