“Room To Run‘s best quality is the fine line it walks between accessible and authentic-melodic without resorting to saccharine or pandering to the lowest common denominator.

States materialized after indie-scene favorites, Copeland, disbanded. Guitarist brothers Bryan and Stephen Laurenson began conceptualizing their new creative musical venture and the duo acquired Mindy White, formerly of Lydia. She stepped out from her usual position behind a keyboard, lending her endearingly captivating vocals to the project. Upon hearing the early mixes, ex-Copeland drummer Jonathan Bucklew and bassist Dean Lorenz joined the lineup and filled out the sound.
