The Mystic Underground – DREAMERS AND LOVERS E.P.

**NEW YORK BAND ‘THE MYSTIC UNDERGROUND’ DELIVER CRISP ELECTRO WITH THE ROMANTIC VOCAL ELEMENTS OF
THE PET SHOP BOYS OR THE SMITHS**

The Mystic Underground are Vladimir Valette (the singing and the song writing), and Benedetto Socci (The composing and the synthesizer manipulating), two young men who ill at ease with the emphasis of style over substance and the general lack of quality song writing on the radio, felt compelled to try and right those wrongs.

They have taken bits of the romantic elements that made legends of bands such as The Smiths and The Pet Shop Boys and applied them to their own take on dance music to create a sound that is both accessible as well as powerful. Hailing from the bustling Brooklyn district of Williamsburg. the duo would often write in wonder of the rich and omnipresent musical history that paves the streets of the city, and aim to create songs for the heart and the feet. Life…set to a dance beat.

The E.P. features ‘Discord And Panic’ which has already received substantial blog acclaim and internet radio play on BBC 6’s Introducing programme hosted by Tom Robinson and ‘Remember Me’ which is already generating heavy play on Strangeways Radio. Remixes come from The Invisible Kid and German synth-pop icons Beborn Beton.

Synths and sass, two Synthesizers and a microphone, the thoughts of a daydreamer set to pen and paper then laid down over syncopated pitter-patter and synthesized swirls and twirls.
