Stream: The Torn ACLs release new track “Something About The Sky”

By on February 13, 2013

The winter may still be with us, but with the help of Seattle’s indie-pop explosion of The Torn ACLs, things are about to heat up quickly. Four albums already under their belt, the group are taking a unique approach to releasing new material this time around. The band is releasing a series of digital singles throughout the year, starting with the propulsive and synthy track, “Something About the Sky,” that  proves to be a catchy song with just one listen. Stellar hooks build up the song’s buoyant arrangement and is stacked with bright and crisp melodic tone. Recommended if you like indie favorites such as Ra Ra Riot, Born Ruffians and Islands, the group takes their energy evoking tracks, to make something truly their own.
