Swedish electro-pop duo Death Team has already been causing havoc with their infectious single “Fucking Bitches in the Hood,” blowing up on multiple international charts. Now Idolator has premiered the accompanying angst-filled video, and they dare you to “not sing along to the catchy, sing-song jam, and to not get a wicked thrill out of the duo’s music video for the track.”

Directed by Mark Zibert, most notable for his work with major brands like Nike and Adidas, the video encapsulates Death Team’s aggressive mannerisms in an upbeat bowling alley that slowly turns into a massive brawl. “Since both of us were in a lot of fights as youngsters, we felt that it would be pretty natural to make the first Death Team music video about fighting and anger issues,” singer Mayka Edd told Idolator. “As the song’s chorus echoes in the background…frustration grows and people start to fight each other like crazy. At the same time the band continues to perform the song as if they were part of another universe.”

Mayka Edd and Johen Rafael Tilli first met after rebelliously stealing seven liters worth of alcohol from an after party. They’ve now been together for the past year, creating their own brand of crazy-catchy dance pop songs inspired by their obsession with 90’s American pop-culture. They channel everything from Abba to Crystal Castles to the Ting Tings to Die Antwoord, and Noisey has dubbed their single as “a sugary sweet popsicle that tastes like the sticky underside of a Parisian nightclub…Essentially, it’s a Euro-pop banger.”

“What in the living fuck is this fantastically amazing, borderline horrifying new song “Fucking Bitches In The Hood” you might ask? Why, it’s the debut single from your soon-to-be-favorite Swedish electro-pop act!”- Idolator
