TELETEXTILE DEBUT NEW SONG “THE LARK” WITH VIDEO FROM IN THE OPEN

ANNOUNCE MARCH TOUR DATES AND SXSW

Teletextile are excited to unveil the new song “The Lark” as part of the In The Open video series.

The beautiful and light drenched session below was filmed in California this December, and features multi-instrumentalist (Harp, Piano, Violin, Guitar) and vocalist Pamela Martinez playing a brand new song “The Lark.”  The harp being played was borrowed from the gracious multi-instrumentalist Pat Grossi of Active Child.

In the fall of 2010 Teletextile released Reflector. The ep represented the latest step in Teletextile’s unfolding journey towards self-discovery.  Martinez’ sites one of her main motivations of creating and playing music as finding a way to replicate the experience of dreaming. “You should want to close your eyes when listening to music,” she says, “it should be your own story, your own vision.”  This March the band will take to the road to play gigs around the 2011 SXSW music festival.  Tour dates below.

Reflector is available for free via  Teletextile.com – Sample two tracks at the streaming links below.
