On January 19th of 2013 I saw one of the best opening bands for Of Mice & Men ever! TEXAS IN JULY! I saw them at soma San Diego and they put an such an astonishing and exciting show!
First, The band comes out and Alex, lead vocalist, steps to the front and raises his hands. The crowd screams and the pit opens. The band has already gotten just about everyone off and jumping on their feet! If someone wasn’t doing that, they were banging their heads. The ear-piercing unclean vocals, the pulsating feel of the drums, and the thrilling sound of the bass and rhythm guitar is what makes a band cascade higher than the rest.
Every single drop of sweat was worth it! The ringing in my ears days later was worth it! Seeing Texas In July is worth the money and more! The show will leave you wanting more when it’s over! The venue made the band’s sound reach from ear to ear perfectly. Definitely a band you want to see in a small intimate setting.
Therefore, I strongly advise you to see Texas In July at least once. Anyone, no matter what kind of music they like will enjoy the show that Texas In July puts on.
I would gladly see this band again!
