ANNOUNCE NEW TOUR DATES INCLUDING ALBUM RELEASE SHOW AT HOUSE OF BLUES IN CHICAGO OCTOBER 4TH
The Giving Tree Band and Crooked Creek Records proudly debut “Dead Heroes,” the latest song off their forthcoming album Vacilador, set for release October 2nd. The Chicago area seven piece based out of Yorkville, IL are known for inducing “folksy bliss” (Relix) with their down home take on rock ‘n’ roll, drawing comparisons to “Neil Young, Bob Dylan, the Band, and the Grateful Dead” (Acoustic Guitar). In anticipation of the albums upcoming release The Giving Tree Band have premiered, “Dead Heroes,” on PasteMagazine.com. 
The Giving Tree Band will celebrate the release of Vaciladorwith a home-town album release show at the House of Blues in Chicago on October 4th. Their travels this fall also bring them to Nashville during the Americana Music Festival for a gig at 3rd and Lindsley on September 12th. A full list of tour dates below.
With the release of Vacilador, The Giving Tree Band hope to build upon the success and high praise heaped upon their most recent album The Joke The Threat & The Obvious, which drew praise from a wide range of outlets including Huffington Post, Alternate Root Magazine, Glide Magazine, The Bluegrass Special, Relix, and Acoustic Guitar Magazine among others.
