At the beginning of 2013 The Hudson Branch started laying down music for the next EP in a series they called “Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow”. The goal with the new material was to push their musical limitations. After experimenting with soul, R&B, electronic, and pop music and writing 23 songs, they realized they had something exciting on their hands. Out of this experience has come some of the most honest and compelling music they have made, including the single “You Don’t Know Me” and b-side “Do You Want To Dance”
Now for their second Kickstarter funded album, their goal is to head back to one of Chicago’s top recording studios, the Chicago Recording Company, to finish the album.
