The Lumineers song “Ho Hey” the first single off the band’s self-titled debut album, is the #1 song at Alternative Radio according to Mediabase and BDS. “Ho Hey” has been gaining momentum since the album’s release on Dualtone in April. The song spent 8 weeks as #1 on Triple A Radio, and has sold more than 706,000 downloads. The video for “Ho Hey” was also recently added by VH1 and CMT. The band’s self-titled debut album has sold over 270,000 copies since its release. The current issue of Rolling Stone magazine features the band in a “Breaking” artist profile, calling “Ho Hey” “…a stomping acoustic sing-along.”

The Lumineers are about to hit the road in the United States again, beginning their fall headlining tour on September 20 and 21 with two shows in Chicago. The tour will hit up markets in the Midwest before heading to the West Coast, including two shows on October 2 and 3 at the Fonda Theater in Los Angeles. The band spent the summer touring behind their debut, opening shows for both Brandi Carlile and Old Crow Medicine Show. For a full itinerary of upcoming US dates, please see below.

The Lumineers’ “Ho Hey” music video is still in rotation at VH1 as well as CMT, following the band’s two-month stint as VH1’s “You Oughta Know” artists during July and August. Launched in 2004, VH1’s “You Oughta Know” franchise introduces promising new artists on the rise to VH1’s base of music lovers. Many “You Oughta Know” artists have gone on to win industry awards and accolades including “Best New Artist” Grammy Awards and nominations.
