21 year-old Russian-born DJ Arty is the fresh face of a new breed of DJs putting a different spin on the sound of EDM, expanding dream horizons in progressive house and trance. On 8/04/2011 he released his massive big-room anthem, “Around the World,” on Anjunabeats. And to say this talented young dj/producer is grabbing the attention of those who matter is a serious understatement. His perfectly paced, high-energy beat-based explorations of sound have impressed the likes of big names and hit-makers including Swedish House Mafia, Armin Van Buuren, Axwell, Chuckie, Hardwell, Tiesto, Robbie Rivera, Above & Beyond, and Gareth Emery. Not to mention his jaw-dropping collaborations with Mat Zo, on “Synapse Dynamics” and “Rebound.”

In the fall of 2010 Arty debuted at #78 on DJ Mag’s Top 100 list and as a result of widespread support and respect from his peers, he was subsequently nominated for Best Breakthrough DJ at the 2011 IDMA awards. Since then, Arty and his music have been around the world and back several times over, making pit stops at the most prestigious clubs and festivals along the way—including Global Gathering, Gatecrasher and ASOT 500 in Den Bosch.

So far, “Around the World” has worked it’s way up to #4 on Beatport’s Top 100 and #2 on their Top Progressive lists. With good reason people are expecting big things from his upcoming debut performances at Electric Zoo Festival in New York and Nocturnal Festival in San Bernadino. With over 30 releases on labels from Armada to Black Hole, and his blissful utilization of melody and quiet build-ups, massive beat drops and explosive climaxes, DJ Arty is one to watch. In his own words, “I think that your goals must be difficult to achieve, reaching such goals is the most exciting thing that encourages me to develop as an artist.” Luckily for us, DJ Arty has set the bar high and he’s developing at a rapid rate.
