Vancouver’s psychedelic folk sweethearts THE ROYAL OUI have just unveiled the video for “True”, the latest single off of their self-titled debut. Directed by Austin Muirhead, the video’s dreamy 70’s aesthetic was inspired by Norway indie pop band Teen Me’s video for “Dear Sister”. Shot along Vancouver’s North Shore, the video captures the places where THE ROYAL OUI often hike with their dog. “We thought that the images of the river and the lush forest juxtaposed with urban bridges and an abandoned Boy Scout camp covered in graffiti, provided the perfect backdrop for this song,” says Ari.
