What the press are saying…

The title of The Venetia Fair’s new Kickstarter-funded album, Every Sick, Disgusting Thought We’ve Got In Our Brain, speaks for itself as it showcases the band’s signature maniacal spin on the modern cabaret-rock sound. – Alternative Press

“If wacked-out melodic post-hardcore was an evolutionary tree, Foxy Shazam would be the emotive, man-like gorillas; The Venetia Fair would be a gang of vicious orangutans with a bad case of mange. (The Blood Brothers are, I dunno, some sort of fucking amazing evolutionary dead-end, a bizarre and beautiful mutation that we’ll never see the likes of again. What do I look like, an evolutionary biologist?) ” – Property of Zack (SXSW review)

“The Venetia Fair‘s highly anticipated second full-length record, Every Sick, Disgusting Thought We’ve Got In Our Brain, provides listeners with 13 songs of grossly addictive circus-rock… the band creates a great mixture of being musically progressive while still maintaining a strong melodic backbone in each track, a hard goal to accomplish for some.” – Under the Gun Review
