Boston-based rockers The Venetia Fair grabbed everyone’s attention at the close of 2012 with the monumental success of their Kickstarter campaign – fans obliterating their $8K goal in a mere 4 days! The band, vowing to unleash “Every Sick Disgusting Thought We’ve Got In Our Brain” with this new record, are stoked to finally unveil the goods on March 1st, 2013. They’ll be releasing multiple singles alongside some epic-ly weird and dangerous music videos in the coming weeks. TVF will hit the road in support of their newest studio effort, kicking things off with an album release show in East Wareham, MA on March 1st and making a stop in Austin for SXSW 2013.

The Venetia Fair began tracking “Every Sick Disgusting Thought We’ve Got In Our Brain” at guitarist Mike’s Switchbitch Studios; but completed a vast majority of the recording with Steve Sopchak at Square Studios in Syracuse, NY. The quintet had partnered with Steve for their last release; the 5-track EP entitled “The Pits”, and felt he was the only man to take on this project:

“’Every Sick, Disgusting Though We’ve Got In Our Brain’ is 13 of the best songs we’ve ever written. We knew we were going to work with Steve Sopchak at The Square Studio again the second we got the first mix of The Pits back; and he went far above and beyond our expectations this time. It’s bigger than anything we’ve ever done. We tracked all sorts of horns and strings and extra percussion and now this thing is just a massive beast of an album but with a real focus on making each song stand strong on its own. It makes The Pits sound like a toy and we love The Pits!”

ABOUT THE VENETIA FAIR:

Since the release of their debut album “The Circus” in 2009, The Venetia Fair have been making serious noise in the music scene with their dynamic fusion of sound, hitting everything from pop to punk – hardcore to jazz. Imagine The Used meets Foxy Shazam combined with Panic At The Disco’s first album on acid and you might have something as unique and influential as The Venetia Fair. Often referred to as brilliantly odd, schizophrenic, or mental, the band takes their unique genre and translate it to a fierce and theatrical live show, leaving fans wondering what they just experienced and craving more.

Consisting of Benny Santoro (vocals), Mr. Chark (bass), Mike Abiuso (guitar), Joe Brown (keys), and Chris Constantino (drums), TVF has shared the stage with notable acts such as Foxy Shazam, Finch, The Sleeping, Vanna, Bless The Fall, Hit The Lights, Dance Gavin Dance, The Dear Hunter, Versa Emerge, Our Last Night. They amazed and entertained fans across the country when they were selected to play Warped Tour 2011 alongside the release of their EP “The Pits”. They’ve garnered rave reviews and features in some of today’s top music outlets including Alternative Press, The Deli Magazine, Substream Music Press, Absolute Punk, The Gunz Show (Idobi Radio) and Property of Zack.

The Venetia Fair will be releasing their 2nd full-length album “Every Sick Disgusting Thought We’ve Got In Our Brain” on March 1, 2013. Stay tuned for crazy music videos, tour dates, fan-first exclusives, and more ridiculousness from the band!
