Currently busy in the studio penning their third as-yet-untitled and follow up to 2011’s ‘Scatterbrain album; THE XCERTS are planning to take a short break from the studio and blow away the studio cobwebs by hitting the road in support of Anberlin in January/February. See dates below.

The band recently tested out some of their new material on a short tour of the UK at the end of 2012. Speaking of the new material and forthcoming tour lead singer and guitarist Murray Macleod says “We can’t wait to take these new songs out of the studio and on tour again. Writing and recordings new songs is great but we are a live band and can’t wait to get out on the road with Anberlin.”

The Xcerts have outdone themselves. This is a record that bands strive their whole careers to write and they’ve gone and done it on the second attempt. Marvellous. –  5/5 Punktastic
