Praise for Harmonicraft:
“Torche’s third album – which, in a just world, would have a breakout on the level of Queens of the Stone Age – boasts a nonstop roil of controlled explosiveness, not to mention creepily eye-popping  rainbow/unicorn fantasia cover art. Adding Andrew Elstner on guitar, frontman Steve Brooks has relit the band’s fuse and is now focused on writing ” ‘rip with a smile’ rock songs that prove that heavy music can be progressive without being predictable.” – SPIN

“Its riffs and hooks are both huge, and they both push each other toward some perfect imaginary place where you’re wheeling down a deserted highway on an 80-degree day, going 95 with your head sticking out the sunroof. It’s great. This album is great.” – Stereogum

“a sludgy, doom-y Superchunk (or, at times, a non-suck Foo Fighters).” – Pitchfork

“Consider me now 100% more excited for Harmonicraft.” – Metal Sucks

“…a cohesive collection that flows effortlessly; without a doubt, its one of the strongest guitar-rock records 2012 will yield.” – Alternative Press
