Toronto-based duo Some Minor Noise unveils their dynamic new single “Understanding” today with the always lovely Yours Truly. The emotionally sophisticated electro track delivers a poignant depiction of the frustration surrounding failure all atop slinking synths and swells of dancefloor ready production; as the band aptly puts it they “make music you can dance/cry/break stuff to”. This single is the first in a collection of new material from the young project to be compiled on a forthcoming debut full length due out later this year.

Some Minor Noise is an electronic noise pop duo from Toronto, Canada. The band members are Jane Void (girl, vocals) and Wayne Doe (boy, beats). They met in the summer of 2011, when Wayne saw Jane perform her newly solo-ed project. Initially they planned to continue the solo project with Wayne acting as producer, however after working together the duo realized their sounds together were better as a collaboration and thus, Some Minor Noise was formed. They released their debut self-titled 5-track EP on Feb, 29th. 2012 and are currently working on a full length for late 2013.
