Trivium light up charts around the world with ‘Vengeance Falls’

By on October 24, 2013

“VENGEANCE FALLS,” the new album from Roadrunner Records group Trivium has made a stunning worldwide impact, arriving at #2 on Billboard’s “Hard Rock Albums” chart; #15 on the overall Billboard 200 and making top 10 chart debuts in Japan, Australia, Germany and Austria as well as a top 15 debut in Canada and a top 25 debut in the United Kingdom.  This marks the acclaimed metallers second consecutive top 15 debut in the US and highest career debuts around the globe –including a #2 debut in Japan.

“VENGEANCE FALLS,” which was produced by David Draiman (Disturbed, Device) marks a brilliant new chapter for Trivium and is proving to be a massive creative milestone for the group.  Artist Direct applauded “VENGEANCE FALLS” stating, “This raises the bar for modern heavy metal. The competition has been terminated,” while Premier Guitar touted the collection as “Trivium’s most musically satisfying release to date.” What’s more, Trivium are also giving fans a behind the scenes look at the creation of “VENGEANCE FALLS” via a four part documentary chronicling the band’s writing and recording sessions for the album, the first two parts of the which are currently available for viewing on Trivium’s official YouTube Channel.  “VENGEANCE FALLS” is available now in a range of distinctive versions, including standard and deluxe editions as well as vinyl LPs at Trivium’s Official Webstore.

Trivium – Matt Heafy (vocals/guitar), Corey Beaulieu (guitar), Paolo Gregoletto (bass), and Nick Augusto (drums) – debuted the album’s first single, “Strife” this past August with Revolver Magazine and later released a gripping  companion music video which was directed by Ramon Boutviseth (Dream Theater, All That Remains) and is currently available for viewing on Trivium’s Official YouTube Channel. Lauded as one of modern metals most commanding live acts, the video captures Trivium’s powerful live performance which has earned the band accolades across the globe.

Furthermore, Trivium has announced plans to expand upon their recent North American co-headline tour alongside DevilDriver.  The second leg of the trek is set to pick up on November 5th in Seattle, WA and then continue through mid-December (see attached itinerary).   For complete tour information, please visit

Founded in 2000, Trivium catapulted into the first ranks of modern metal with 2004’s Roadrunner debut, “ASCENDANCY,” which was named “Album of the Year” by none other than Kerrang! 2006’s “THE CRUSADE” incorporated new melodic colors into the band’s sound, resulting in widespread critical applause and a top 25 Billboard 200 debut. “SHOGUN” followed two years later and received event greater acclaim and chart success, including a #1 debut on the UK’s Rock Albums Chart.
