Trixie Whitley Shares New Album Teaser Video, Album Artwork, NYC Release Show

Trixie Whitley has created a video teasing the arrival of her forthcoming debut album, Fourth Corner. The clip is for the dark and dreamy “Silent Rebel Pt. 2,” and was shot by Belgian photographer/videographer Anton Coene. It’s available for POSTING HERE.


Whitley has also made available now for the first time, the Fourth Corner album art. The photo for the cover was shot by Shervin Lainez. On January 31, 2013, she will celebrate the release of Fourth Corner with a show at New York’s Le Poisson Rouge. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased HERE.


Whitley is currently on tour on the west coast. Remaining tour dates and confirmed dates for 2013 are below.


Whitley will release Fourth Corner on January 29, 2013, in the United States on Strong Blood Records. It will be released two weeks later in Europe on February 11. Fourth Corner was recorded in New York with producer/keyboardist Thomas Bartlett (aka Doveman, who’s also worked with Glen Hansard, Antony and the Johnsons, Grizzly Bear and the National), engineer Pat Dillett (David Byrne, St. Vincent, Mary J. Blige), with string arrangements by Rob Moose (Antony, Bon Iver).
