Vampire Weekend ‘Live From The Artists Den’ debuts Feb. 22 on PBS

Vampire Weekend

Beginning tomorrow, February 22, Vampire Weekend: Live from the Artists Den will be broadcast on PBS across the United States. For their episode, cameras captured the incredible transformation of The General Society of Mechanics and Tradesmen library in Manhattan into a bona fide rock club. This picturesque setting allowed the band to blaze through notable songs such as “Cousins,” “A-Punk” and “Unbelievers,” from their GRAMMY®-winning record Modern Vampires of the City, among marble columns and dangling chandeliers. This was a truly intimate performance as only 400 spectators were admitted, many of whom danced in the balconies and amidst the book stacks as Ezra Koenig, Chris Baio, Rostam Batmanglij and Chris Tomson celebrated their victorious homecoming.

Vampire Weekend: Live from the Artists Den will be broadcast starting on February 22 on local public broadcasting stations. Specific times for individual regions are available by visiting artistsden.com. A preview video of the band’s performance is also available to watch.

Following a short break, Vampire Weekend will hit the road again late March in continued support of Modern Vampires of the City. All confirmed dates are currently on sale at Vampire Weekend’s official website. A complete listing of dates is available below.
