Votiv to re-release previously out of print So So Glos catalog

By on October 23, 2013

Blowout, the most recent release from Brooklyn’s So So Glos has won over everyone from Stereogum, to Pitchfork, to SPIN to Rolling Stone, the latter of whom named the album one of their Top Albums of 2013 in their mid-year list. And now, if the 11 track album wasn’t enough to satisfy your need for the foursome’s catchy and energetic pop-punk hooks, So So Glos fans will be able to purchase the band’s self-titled record for the first time since 2011.

Those who have followed the band since their 2007 self-titled debut know that due to the untimely demise of the Glos’ previous label, their music became nearly impossible to find. However, starting today, when fans visit the band’s website they will be able to buy not only the old album, but will also get a copy of Blowout, along with a limited edition poster that immortalizes the Brooklyn foursome as they really are…cartoons!

This initial digital bundle will be on the So So Glos’ website for purchase until November; upon then, a new package will become available with the So So Glos’ second out of print release, Tourism/Terrorism. Then in December, Votiv will release a third and final bundle that includes the band’s EP, Low Back Chain Shift. All three bundles will be joined with an exclusive and limited gift with purchase.
