Wallpaper. is touring in support of their album debut Ricky Reed Is Real, released July 23 on Boardwalk Records/Epic Records.  The album, Alt Press called “a blast,” is a wild mash up of Friday night party anthems, fist-pumping dubstep and signature Ricky Reed auto-tune that debuted in the Top 10 of the Billboard Heatseekers chart.

Buzznet – “If you’re looking to bring some life to your pool party this weekend, [RRiR] is a great album to get your friends moving.”

ARTISTdirect – “[Wallpaper.] doesn’t just blur the lines between pop, alt and rock. It re-defines them, creating a brand new genre.”

Wallpaper.’s big break came when MTV collaborated with Reed to release an animated video to Wallpaper.’s single “Best Fucking Song Everrr”. The song broke into Top 40 and the music video clocks more than 4 million views. Check it out here: http://bit.ly/nCnNYe

In 2012 SPIN Magazine reviewed Wallpaper.’s Coachella performance saying, “When he [Reed] clapped, they clapped. When he bounced, they leapt. When he sung, they opened their mouths and screamed to the temporary metal rafters.” Later that year, Reed offered that infectious enthusiasm with performances on Jimmy Kimmel Live and Last Call with Carson Daly.

For Ricky Reed Is Real, Ricky tucked himself away in an Echo Park Studio and wrote the entire album just nine months before its release.  “If Fucking Best Song Everrr’ is your last reference point, you have no idea where I’m at right now,” says Reed.  This Fall’s Journey’s Noise Tour will give him the chance to share the new Reed with fans who are ravenous to see for themselves.
