The end of 2012 is wrapping up strongly for electronic music producer and DJ WOLFGANG GARTER who is set to perform at Spike TV’s 10th annual Video Game Awards (“VGA TEN”), turning “the highly-anticipated gaming event into a full scale house party.” (SPIKE.COM) The show, hosted by Samuel L. Jackson, will air thisFriday, December 7 at 9:00 PM ET/6:00 PM PT on SPIKE TV and SPIKE.COM. Special guests Linkin Park andTenacious D will be joining GARTNER during the VGAs.
In addition to his VGA performance this week, WOLFGANG GARTER has teamed up with Tom Staar on his latest single “Evil Lurks” out now on Ultra Music. The track sounds exactly like its title suggests—dark and spooky and filled with WOLFGANG‘s signature twists and chords. GARTNER has also recently launched “Kindergarten Radio,” a weekly radio show on “Evolution” (iHeartRadio), which airs every Wednesday from 9PM-11PM EST.

About WOLFGANG GARTNER:
”I have to make something that’s never been made before; have to make the best thing that I’ve ever done in my life – otherwise it gets stagnant or worse,” says producer/DJ WOLFGANG GARTNER. Whether or not his progressively more maximilist take on electro-house is your bag or not, you have to respect his exponentially steep rise through the electro-house ranks. And Lord knows, you’ve heard it—or about it: flipping Beethoven’s 5th for the 4 a.m. crowd; eight #1 tracks on Beatport; remix/collabs with Britney Spears, Timbaland and Black Eyed Peas; festival-highlight performances at Coachella 2012 and Electric Daisy Carnivals 2010 and 2011 and a Grammy nomination under his belt. Where Joey Youngman, the one-time party kid from San Luis Obispo, CA and another-time househead old soul, has been electro-house’s dark (work) horse, Weekend in America, his debut full-length for Ultra Music, is WOLFGANG GARTNER becoming dance music’s one-man parallel universe, outpacing electro-house and outdoing himself. GARTNER continues to outdo himself with his most recent release and will build his impressive repertoire with constant remixes and original productions throughout 2013.
