Woodstock-based singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Adrien Reju is thrilled to partner with Glide Magazine to premiere her new album Strange Love and The Secret Language in its entirety.

Now streaming at http://bit.ly/1UctuWp, Glide Magazine praises this striking collection of unconventional love songs for “showing a sharp edge through the beauty of the compositions” going to say Reju “delivers a lucid album that resonates on first listen – pretty much an ideal album concept.”

Strange Love and The Secret Language features A.C Newman, Marco Benevento and also includes covers of artists Prince, John Cale, Elliot Smith and King Missile. Strange Love and The Secret Language will be released this Friday August 7th on Zip Records.

Adrien recently stopped by Daytrotter’s Illinois studio to play songs from Strange Love and The Secret Language. This session is now live at http://bit.ly/1E8fgwJ

Strange Love and The Secret Language spotlights Adrien’s unique brand of indie-folk-retro-pop and offers listeners a lush, deeply textured pop record that has already caught the attention of critics at WXPN, PopMatters and The Philadelphia Inquirer, along with fellow musicians Gillian Welch, Neko Case, Amos Lee and Rachel Yamagata (all whom she’s toured with).

Adrien filmed an entertaining video for the WXPN approved track “Last Call.” Check it out here http://bit.ly/1IXldE2 and feel free to share with your readers.

Adrien is currently on a headlining tour that includes a performance at Los Angeles’s Hotel Café tonight Wednesday August 5th. Adrien plans to spend the rest of 2015 on the road. Tour dates on www.adrienreju.com.

Before capturing the attention of San Francisco-based indie label Zip Records, Strange Love and the Secret Language owes its existence in part to a highly successful PledgeMusic campaign, which netted Reju 113% of her stated financial goals. Clearly her fans are as passionate about her music as she is.

“Adrien is like a bird from another planet who can see directly into your heart.”

– Rachel Yamagata
