XBOX and Bonnaroo join forces for a live festival experience BLAM!

Bonnaroo This June, 80,000 people will trek to the farm in Manchester, TN, for the 13th annual Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival to watch a world class music lineup perform on 13 stages over four days and participate in the unique communal culture that is Bonnaroo. For fans who can’t make the trip to Tennessee, Xbox and Bonnaroo have a solution – they are bringing the festival to living rooms everywhere!     “Bonnaroo transcends the festival weekend, and with Xbox, we’re creating a virtual destination befitting of the live experience,” says Jonathan Mayers of Superfly Presents, co-founders of Bonnaroo with AC Entertainment. “The partnership shows our commitment to serving our global community with innovative Bonnaroo content year round.”   This new partnership will give Xbox users unprecedented access to the live Bonnaroo experience through an interactive, exclusive television experience that will be streaming in high-definition, where available. Experience live music as you’ve never seen it before, with multiple streams of the best performances, biggest artists and amazing SuperJams. Explore this year’s lineup and see the best of Bonnaroo’s past with exclusive performances.  Join the conversation with fellow virtual-Bonnaroovians and get connected to your friends and the festival.   Setting the stage for this epic adventure, the 2014 Bonnaroo Lineup Announcement Megathon, aka BLAM!, will be broadcasted exclusively on Xbox and syndicated on Bonnaroo.com on Wednesday, February 19, with the pre-show event starting at 7 p.m. EST and BLAM! at 9 p.m. EST. BLAM! hosts, Taran Killam (Saturday Night Live) and comedian Hannibal Buress, will reveal all in this Bonnaroo-style party featuring a SuperJam with the Flaming Lips and Ben Folds, plus special guests. Exclusive swag will be handed out to those who attend while supplies last at select party locations. The parties will begin at 7 p.m. EST (unless otherwise noted) with BLAM! beginning at 9 p.m. EST.
