Louisville hardcore outfit Xerxes have added additional dates to their spring headlining U.S. run and have announced plans to join metal/hardcore band This Is Hell on the road this summer, extending the tour in support of their new album, Our Home Is A Deathbed, through mid-July.
The most ferocious band to come out of Kentucky in years, Xerxes are making their mark on underground hardcore with their unique style of intensely cathartic music that combines influences of blistering thrash, atmospheric post-rock and furious pit churning hardcore.
On the band’s debut full-length album, Our Home Is A Deathbed,  Xerxes’ unleash a torrential downpour of refined instrumentation, complex dexterity and an overt sense of vulnerability that hits hard for listeners on a personal and musical level, allowing them to put their own personal stamp on hardcore as we know it.
Catch Xerxes live in a city near you and pick up Our Home Is A Deathbed on iTunes or from No Sleep Records.
