Those who have followed any previous releases should be aware by now that Zardonic settles for nothing short of greatness. On the verge of celebrating 10 years of creating bass explosions in 2014 with his unique blend of Metal, Industrial, Bass Music, and EDM, he’s prepared, yet again, to return to the old continent in an 18 stop crusade he calls Europa Beyond Bass: Tour 2013*“. And if his previously released “Far Beyond Bass” 2013 remix album wasn’t enough to tear down European expectations, he’s built an entire arsenal of dancefloor weaponry around the once free track, ‘Restless Slumber‘.

The new EP released on Jet Set Trash, “Restless Remixes“, contains a re-vamped version of the original track, plus remixes from the Jet Set Trash family: dancefloor metalectro by Hijack Da Bass, devastating dubstep from Imagin8, dynamic drumstep by Lock N Bounce and goresplatter glitch hop (if not breakcore) from Canada’s brutal-driven Gör Flsh. Plus, a dubstep remix from Chilean Tomorrow We Fall, winner of a remix competition for the original track.

How about this: another two remixes from Venezuelan artists Determinators and Esparta, runner-ups in the remix competition, plus a special bonus drum cover of the track by Carach Angren’s own blastbeat inferno Namtar. That’s three tracks for FREE! Oh, plus a full 1080 HD wallpaper designed by Raph Crimson, just in case you had any complaints.

It’s hard to think of successful, hard-edged, Latin-American DJs without thinking Federico Agreda Alvarez, best known as Zardonic. The Bass titan has released original tracks with three time Grammy award winner Skrillex’s OWSLA label and America’s top Drum & Bass DJ Dieselboy’s Human Imprint label; toured the entire world with a busy event schedule from his hometown Barquisimeto to Tokyo; gained worldwide air plays on BBC Radio 1; featured his music in live DJ sets by Knife Party, Bassnectar, Skream, Benga, Andy C, John B and the likes; shared the stage with créme de la créme DJs like The Outside Agency, Audio, Calvertron, Dylan, DJ Hidden as well as world renowned characters like Zombie Boy (famous for his cameo in the video ‘Born This Way‘ by Lady Gaga), The Mexican Vampire Woman (Guinness World Record of the woman with the most body changes) and metal titans Dimmu Borgir; and that’s just for starters.

Born and raised in Venezuela, Zardonic encompasses everything from Glitch Hop and Electro to Drum & Bass and Hardcore, all while wearing a frighteningly enigmatic mask that has become his personal brand and signature.

With an extensive discography going back from 2004 till the present, Zardonic has released several singles and remixes for majors like Nine Inch Nails and Beyoncé. His 2012 LP debut Vulgar Display Of Bass charted as the #1 Drum & Bass release on Beatport, getting more than a million plays for his track ‘Bring Back The Glory ‘ in YouTube, and the participation of 45 countries in the official video for ‘Revolution‘.

His most recent album, Far Beyond Bass – The Vulgar Remixes, released on grammy nominee AK1200’s label Big Riddim Recordings, features 12 remixes of the tracks contained in the original Vulgar Display Of Bass album, all crafted by top artists like Black Sun Empire, State Of Mind, Counterstrike, Neonlight, Delta 9, and many more!
